I love Nicholas Black and was happily surprised that he has spread out into a different kind of writing. This book will keep you turning pages just to see what happens next. It kept me up late on work nights because I just couldn't put it down. I also suggest some of his other work like "See Jack Die" or "Last American Mercenary". Both are great reads. This is a serial killer masterpiece! Absolutely stunning. You'll never guess the ending in a million years. Jay is the man!
Long story arcs that served no purpose, lots of grammatical errors, over the top gore and horror... get an editor! Writing style shows promise though.
Scary, haunting, surreal;)
This is a very quite, violent, detailed story of three serial killers. It makes me a little less sure of the world we live in. This is something that psychology students and anyone who likes the sociopaths mind will really sink their teeth into.
Let me first say that I am sure this author is a fine writer. I read a number of literature genres, so just based on my personal reading experience, I cannot recommend this book.
story moved along at a good pace and kept you in suspense. lot of twist and turns. pretty gory in places. BUT should have spent a few more bucks getting the right words in place, writing coherent sentences and checking the spelling. Of all the books I have ever read poorest job of editing and just checking what was written. guess he had to make a deadline
